Description
Another photo taken while walking around Washington D.C. This is the US Supreme Court Building just east across the street from the US Capitol Building. The two seated figures are 'The Contemplation of Justice' on the left and 'The Authority of Law' on the right. The building was completed in 1935.
This town is always filled with tourists...we fit right in:-)

Fine photo! The clarity of all impressed me and I checked out the camera. already knew the photographer is good.
I already know the photographer is good... Nicely done and presented.
Excellent image, very well taken and composed !!
The way things are going, they might as well cover those two statues
Great capture
I never thought of Washington DC as a tourist destination!
interesting photo!
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
Another very fine clear shot Bill.
"Equal Justice Under Law?" And in what country would this be? An excellent image showing what I fear may be an obsolete concept. And Andrea, Washington, D.C. has always been a tourist destination. Why even our Congress visits it occasionally.
So many important, life-changing decisions have been made in this historic building!
Quite an excellent photo, Bill! You captured both the grandeur of the building, and the color of the tourist population.
beautiful architecture, looks very greek with all the wonderful columns and decor 😃
A fantastic capture, very clean building, zoomed to look at the figures above the pillars.
