Very pretty - but I bet it bites!
Interesting bug and nice colours, verry clear shot!
nature never ceases to amaze me
Shining shot.
we have a variant here in Washington state
Great shot!
Oh God. These things are all over the place, I see. We have a darker variety here. They stink like a skunk if you squish them. I accidentally leaned on one and crushed it with my elbow on my desk one day.
So when are they coming back
Interesting bug, great capture!
I thought it was your family crest when I saw the thumb until I came here and saw the legs and feelers.
actually we have many family crests. never could make our minds
Amazing bug and superb macro, Richard!
From the title I though InGen had come up with a competitor to the Thing-a-magig-o-saurus with the spines! Now I see an interesting little stink bug. Nice photo of the little critter. I've seen a few in the US. Are they a type of roach? Keep up the good work! :-)
when we were in oklahoma my son was playing circus with them in a boutique 😆
having trouble with some bugs that look like this, annoying :( great image

Nice shot.
Fabulous capture Richard
wonderful bug
Magnificent specimen.
This is amazing!
Looks like a species of 'shield bug' so named because they look like a shield - and they can put out a pretty nasty stink if they've a mind....Very cool macro of the little guy, Richard.
that's a cool bug.
Nice shot of this shield bug
Nice looking shield bug, thanks for sharing.
