Hello dear Friends,
For today the original egg, made with Apophysis, before I did the editing, which I showed you the results yesterday.
Where I made a rather stupid mistake in my description, though, in retrospect ,when Badsue quoted me, I had a fat, big laugh!
Namely, instead of eating coloured eggs at Easter, I wrote that we eat at Easter coloured eyes.
Haha, but except Badsue (Susanne) no eye has seen it, so it is probably still somewhere a tradition to eat eyes, wink, wink. :D

This original is as beautiful as your transformed version---only this one is less 'spectacular'. This one is quieter, more like an intricate tapestry...whereas the other version is like a big blasting piece of stained glass. You have pods in that one, and big bright cells. The reds are stunning. It shouts and dances...
This one is more introspective: It feels like a glimpse into the workings of a cell. The detail around the "opening" is very organic. Like cellular structures. And the opening has a big aqua blue center, with rays radiating out. It appears like it burst through the background, and opened up to reveal its deep contents. It's powerful and introspective, and it feels like a fugue. The other version feels (to me) more like an elaborate overture. Together, they make a whole piece. Wonderful work as always, Jacomina. Your work is very complex, deep, intricate, and always beautiful.
