Just an eye-catching view from the top of the jungle. Those buildings look early or mid 1900's and your character wears modern clothing, but nothing's supposed to be conventional here.
Exactly right. "conventional" is a bad word and the makings of a boring nightmare to a surrealist. LOL :)

I don't know. If I was standing there with that kind pf view, I'd be kind of scared, even shocked maybe. I would feel the urge to 'nope out'. Your protagonist (or maybe antagonist?) seems quite relaxed, proud even. Maybe he's one of the 'makers' of that madness down there?
Leaves me with dark visions, and in them, mankind does not stand in a very positive light at all.
