With this flower I want to wish you a wonderful birthday, dear Katherine.
A day full of joy and happiness, together with your dear husband Michel, and with all your loved ones.
This Helleborus, and its place in our garden, I have chosen special for you, namely:
Imagine, you're back in our garden on that chair where you sat on last summer; now, look to the right, and you see this flower.
He is very proud and pride among all else, actually like a kind of winner, who dares to stabbing the first head up high in spring.
Symbolically I see you also Katherine, like this flower.
You should be so proud, and also protrude above others, especially with regard to your efforts in order to learn our Dutch language.
I'm happy and proud of you as well, and wish you and Michel many more years of happiness together here in the Netherlands.
And hopefully "till we meet again".

Katherine is one of the kindest people here, and her art is wonderful and caring, playful and very inventive. This is a beautiful dedi for her. The flower is stunning, it stands out beautifully, like it were made of some special glass or ceramic. Wonderful detail. I can't say, that I have ever seen a Hellebore in my life, well - let's just say, here in OZ anyway and that's why it is such a joy to view yours here and that is pretty good - after all, I was bought up in a flower nursery in Berlin, that makes me pretty much familiar with most varieties and I should know this one, no excuse ! but that makes me also a little melancholy, or homesick... for my beloved Berlin - thanks for showing me your beautiful garden.
