Description
During my little vacation from work, I came across this slug who was taking in the sights as well.
My little vacation is why I wasn't commenting on any images this last weekend

Slow travels for him, cool shot of this critter.
Excellent find, my friend!
Quite a trek for the little guy.
No words, brother. The slug is aware of something!?!
Salt him, please!!!! ;(
cool capture of the slime king
Yech-- You can keep your creepy slimy crawler !
We get a lot of these hiding in murky and muddy ponds.
Errrr it is a wonderful picture Mike.
He is so awesome! What perfectly defined antennae. And I figure he's on a mission just like the rest of us. His shadow is so great here too. I suck so bad at taking pictures. So I think it's so cool that his shadow is contradictory to your camera angle. Wonderful reflection on his back too.
Great find, Mike. I just wouldn't want him creeping up my leg, though. :D
I always imagine slugs are just snails who have left home. Did you know that the mascot of the University of California at Santa Cruz is the banana slug?
Quite a cool photo of something most folks would either step on or do other horrible things! He (it) does seem to be interested in something of camera. Probably that picture of Jabba the Hut you propped up against the wall....
Many come out after a rain - nice one Mike!!!
Awww, he's kinda cute in his own way.
Its a cool shot of the wee thing mike!!!
Slug is on the express lane .... Aloha
Taking it slow often is the best way. Hope you were able to refill your batteries and don't get sucked into the stress of todays life (too much).
a cute little guy. I like the shadow, too.
Perhaps, s/he is also on a vacation.
mmmmmmmmmmmm, looks like escargot is back on the table! sweet shot...
Looks delicious Mike!
Looks tasty
Great find and capture my friend. God bless.
This is amazing!
An interesting looking little creature! Excellent photo, Mike! Hope you had a good time on your vacation!
take it easy!!!

I was happy to hear you took a little vacation. And I really like this slug against that big field of striated concrete. The slug has left not only its shadow, but a bit of fluid on the concrete. An intense center surrounded by the great plains of concrete. A fine image of what is, for that slug, a desert crossing...Fine piece, Mike.
