Picking up where I left off (continuing my chronological comments)...another of your sterling shots of dirt and gravel with imprints of tires and such, in sterling bleaching light. I never tire of these shots, they have striking clarity, presence, "punctuation," rhythm, etc. By "punctuation," I mean that the visual "sentences" are concise and clear, and they come to complete 'stops': punctuation marks. (I don't want to overdo the phrase, lol, I just wasn't sure if it was clear. Each track feels like a concise punctuation mark.) Love the strong shadows, in contrast with that strong, flat mid-morning light. And the variation is more of your "fur-ish" treatment (Helle's word, I love it), bringing out not the harsh contrasts and 'punctuations', but the soft interplay of form after form. The blacks look like ameba making their way through a microscopic sea. Terrific work, Harry.
