L'improvvisa "buriana" li aveva colti del tutto di sorpresa.L'impetuoso vento di "Mistral"spazzava il mare facendolo spumeggiare come panna montata!Solo l'esperienza del vecchio "Lupo di mare " riusciva a tenere a galla il piccolo guscio di noce sul quale navigavano.Nel frattempo i gabbiani , sfrecciavano ,felici , nel cielo sgombro di nuvole sembrando quasi voler sfidare ed irridere il "dio " dei venti!
The sudden " severe gale " had caught them totally by surprise. The rushing wind of "Mistral" swept the sea causing him effervescing like whipped cream! Only the experience of the old "sea dog" managed to keep afloat the small nut shell on which they sailed. Meanwhile the gulls speed happy in the sky, mackerel clouds , appearing almost to brave and mook the "God" of the winds!

Gripping tale. Your image reminds me of The Old Man and the Sea, by Hemingway. This is a remarkably cinematic image (once again), with a pov from the air---the pov of that gull. The gull's presence is stunning, because it's way above the boat. The sea looks agitated, and the boat is small; but the man will guide it with his strong will and patience. And the angle of the sail is wonderful too. A terrific "from the sky" image, with fine hues, and fine detail in the boat (the bottles, barrels, etc). Another fine image from you.
