Description
I was in Houston, Texas, with five of my quilter women friends for a two-day seminar a week or so ago. (L-R in this shot are Pat, Patsy, and Jan.) After the end of the second long day, we decided to relax with an adult beverage on our way back to the hotel. We stopped at a restaurant that had an outdoor seating area, and asked if we could have a table outside in the bar. They brought us to this lovely fire pit with comfy furniture, and it was good to sit on something soft after having been on hard chairs for two days!
The gentleman with the University of Houston hat and shirt had already been seated when we arrived. We thought we might run him off, but he rose to the occasion and kept us all entertained. A delightful man! Sidney was smart and funny and charming and oh-so-easy-on-the-eye, and everyone had a great time.
Normally I make sure I'm not actually IN any of my reflection shots, since they're about the layers and not the photographer, but in this case, you can see me leaning back on the sofa in my overalls and red shirt taking this picture with my phone. I liked it that I could see the building behind me, and a few cars going by, as well as the patrons inside the restaurant. Reflections are fun! :)

Wonderful shot with so many reflections - the window (obviously), but also the glass table, the metal chair bottom, the glass bottles & the glass wine & cocktail glasses. I suppose there are reflections off the ladies' eyeglasses & Sidney's watch too, though I can't honestly see much there...
This is so very full of interest! They look a great bunch of people, and i like the idea of an adult beverage .... However I can't do alcohol so mine is a strong black coffee please.

you got really good quality with a phone! The reflections are crystalline, and the light they create is wonderfully full and magical. The joy of your friends is palpable, as is that of Sidney---who, yes, looks very engaging and fun to be with. I love the light you got on the table and the bottles, they glow and stand out. And of course on the window itself. And I can see you there---yes---in your red shirt (it looks pink from here!), and all kinds of other worlds intermingling, as they always do in your reflection shots. I'm glad it was a fine weekend, even if with a lot of study. This is a sweet way to celebrate it, with another rich and multi-layered reflection shot from your inner eye.
Terrific image. Looks like you and a good time. San Antonio had some pretty bad flooding last week. I hope you managed to avoid all that.
Oh, I love when ladies get together for adult beverages and a bit of fun. No telling what will happen!! Sidney, well, let me must say he is QUITE easy on the eye!!!
