Description
Dinner at 'Ludwig der Bayer' restaurant in Ettal with my relatives. From left Ariane, my grand niece, Gundi, my cousin, Claudia, her daughter, and Heike the widow of her son Robert. Robert passed away unexpectedly three years ago on New Years Eve.
So instead of celebrating at home, we went out for dinner.
This picture was taken on 31 december 2016, Sig...

Wonderful family capture Sig ! I'm sorry for Robert's passing away.
My grandmother passed away the 29th December one year ago... The restaurant looks great. I hope the meal was great too :-)

Outstanding Work,
I'm with the beachbum! How wonderful to have such lovely relatives for a festive dinner.
Yes, Gundi was devastated when that happened 3 years ago. No parent wants to see their children pass away before they do. There were no symptoms, but he also never had an annual physical - there was no reason for it. Well, I used to be the same when I was younger, then I started to take some medication and I was forced to see the doc once a year to get the meds. I hated it, but now I look at it as periodic maintenance. The restaurant is nice, it is operated by the savvy Benedictine monks that own the monastery across the street in Ettal.
I have to go every 3 months for refills because of my insurance. I need to go this week
beautiful family you have.
my sister in law's 40 year old son died suddenly from a massive heart attack about 3 years ago
How nice to be able to put faces to the names! This is a great shot, Sig. Lovely low light.
