Description
as it soars gloomily into the morning fog, captured way back on 11/4/07, in earthquake prone downtown Los Angeles, California.
This one was posted several years ago in my gallery, but a second look shouldn't hurt.

Fog or smog? This entices one to look up, and up, and... to what's at the other end. Strange what fog can do! Keep up the good work. :-)

T.Rex asks if this is fog or smog: Oh, this is fog! No smog looks like this. Beautiful fog shot, the building is devoured by the thick plush gray fog: It just disappears. And the 'soar' of the building moves into oblivion...It's so great to see high rises in your gallery---I mean really high ones. This is a very powerful fog shot. And the lines of the building are perfect for the perspective. As for this being from your earlier gallery: I've reposted a number of shots in my gallery: Why not! The crowd who saw those older shots may be off of RR now---why not let people see them again? I'm all for you doing thata. This is worth a post every year, as far as I'm concerned. Fine fog shooting!
I have to go, Harry (I'm almost at a half an hour---for 3 pics!) (I spent a lot of time on the mixing console), but I'll be back soon. Your "Maelstrom" was most striking: It looks like a landscape that you turned into a big abstract. I loved it. You could easily put that in 2D, as it's a bona fide abstract. (No surprise you do that well.) I'll comment on it soon. Hope you're doing ok after the deluge you've had, the last few weeks...
