a packed image which feels like a decayed wall, a mess of spilled liquids and acids, a tile which an artist painted-over (and poured glazes on, too)---and whatever it is, it's beautiful. Such a rich combination of patterns and hues. It seems to be bubbling over in spots. And it has deep shade, and some very bright light...It's like you put all these glazes and enamels all over a simple tile. Beautiful work, Jacomina. Your imagination is boundless.
