Description
This is an autobiographic therapy piece. In classic paintings of the 17th and 18th century many portraits were painted with the subject surrounded with objects depicting their lives. I just took it a step further ... and used objects to depict my life.
I've gone through some challenges in my life recently and the need to create this was born from that. Different friends will see different aspects of my life they will recognize. It took over a month to get this all together ... the "girl in the bandana" (see drawing on drawing table) helped me polish it up in the end. She isn't a 3d artist and pointed out little things that were a little off. Thank you Jo.
This is dedicated to my Jo, after 49 years, our lives are still an adventure!

Every detail has a personal and historical meaning. For example the grey school-bus represents my early childhood. I traveled around the US with my Great-grandparents in that bus, before RV's. The Panda bear is for a dog from my childhood ... and the pawn is a tribute to the great Poser shader guru bagginsbill. Of course that is just the tip of the iceberg.
