Good luck on the competition! I haven't entered a competition in an eon: I think the wait and anticipation was too much! I wish you the best! This is another recent image of a magical soul inside a special chamber. I love the feeling of 'enclosure', in which she unveils all kinds of secrets. A crystal ball, I assume? And a lot of electricity flying from her. Great tones on her skin, too---she's almost an aged bronze; some great purples on her too; and I love the eyeless green eyes.

As usual, you handle clothing and gear expertly. And the background wood is also very rich and detailed. You framed it well too---the black, brown and yellow frame. And it appears that the brick circle around the center is suddenly amplified, outside the frame: A kind of optical illusion, fitting for a magician's quarters. I also like the mythic 'sun' emblems on each corner. And it all arises out of deep shadow...Very well done, Steve, lots of fine detail. I hope you get recognized for it.
