Fascinating...It looks like an abstract sculpture. I love the "break" in the metal---the way the metal is worn away, below the latch. And I love the piece of metal below that, suspended in air. Fine crop/composition, Jacomina. And the light is beautiful---it's almost golden; and it brings out the deep rust-hues here. An ugly sight, but a beautiful photograph. I like when you photograph old and decayed objects.
