Superb capture Andrea. God bless.
Sometimes you surprise me, Andrea. When I read your title I immediately though of my mother's desserts. The I thought, no, with Andrea its probably something growing on a tree. But darned if you didn't show us an actual mould and a nice one at that.
I remember them from when I was little. Awww - a trip down memory lane. I love jelly and custard!
Loved jelly as a child.
I remember those lovely old molds! These days I just make Jello in a flat Pyrex dish and call it good. With the molds, there was always a chance that it wouldn't come out undamaged. Much dipping in hot water and whatnot. Still, it was a nice touch to have a molded Jello. :)
Interesting way to show your thoughts! Lovely still life 😀
Lol, Mark: I thought it was some strange growth on a tree too---you do show us that kind of thing, which some of us have never seen before. BUT----it's a JELLY mold! Full size, this thing's almost apocalyptic: Amazing how powerful those bulbous shapes are closeup. ANd the combo of the red with the silvery yellow is great: I see some of your "flowers in the house" combination there---ie, knowing what to put with what. The flickr version is one of your perfume bottle shots! It has that lighting, that 'solo-ing', that artistic flare...This, however, is more in our face, even though it's on an angle: The mix of that red 'fortress' with the round jewel box---love it. What other-worldly things they are in this photo. (And with Tara, I remember my mother taking her molds out perfectly. Verrrrry delicate work...)
