Description
Most of the people at the gay 70th birthday party I went to at the weekend were retired, although many of them were so young looking it was hard to believe.
Cecil is 90, and about to have a replacement hip joint. He looks very much younger than that to me!
He is a retired antique dealer and still makes all his own soft furnishings for his beautiful flat.

Your flickr shot is more of your disco club stuff (like the one you posted here) and I love the motion and that deep unreal blue...just what those club environs look like. This is another of your fine portraits, with a great semi smile and a strong but gentle gaze. He looks very kind. And yes, he doesn't look at ALL his age! I hope I look that good if I reach that age. Really nice detail, esp as it's in a very dark setting. I love his eyes peering out from behind his glasses...Another fine portrait from you.
