Description
One of several old film shots I scanned of a trip I took to New Mexico perhaps some 30 plus years ago. This was at the world famous Albuquerque International Balloon Festival, which is held each October. I was on my way to visit my brother in Santa Fe at the time and it just so happened to coincide with the festival.
ZOOM at all cost.
I don't know about you folks out there, but personally speaking, may 2017 be utterly better than 2016.

No postwork here. Nature beat me to it, so the clouds were already there.

Happy New Year to you too, Harry, and thanks for this airy, spacious and very hope-filled card. Why hope-filled? Because of the beautiful clouds and all that light, and the effect of those beautiful balloon colors against that sky. And no ground, which makes it feel like we'll all fly aloft in 2017. For you, I hope your pains and health problems fly aloft---as in, take off and leave you forever. A quiet, spacious greeting for a long, crowded and unruly year. Fine job, and all the best to you in the year ahead, Harry.
(ps---when did it become a "thing" to give visuals instead of comments? I mean, a lot of people do it now. It wasn't like that when I came here, in 2008. I guess it's good for people who don't like to write comments!)
