Description
Captured on film, an easy thirty+ years ago, on the boardwalk (actually concrete pavement) of the world famous Venice Beach in Los Angeles, California. It is a hot spot for individuals - many bizarre - who gather to perform their various acting, athletic, therapeutic or musical skills to the thousands of visitors who stroll along the pavement, just mere yards from the Pacific Ocean.
Besides the guitar, this dude was on roller skates.

I think this is a fantastic capture..... I know him and have talked to him many times. He was a very nice and friendly man.Yes this shot was taken maybe 40 years ago. I'm saving this. I forgot his name but he was definitely an icon from Venice Beach in the 70s &,80s

wow, I love the comments above. Helle sees Hara Krishna. Could be---he has some of the dress. Your son knew this guy? For real? That's amazing. I mean that you'd post this from years back, and your son talked to him many times. The singer was an icon of that area? Amazing to read that. And sharky's comment that he'd have a difficult time on those skates: Me included! I'd drop that guitar in a heartbeat.
A really rich shot, so much white in their clothes, that guitar is ancient, then the guy's hat, his outfit, his wild pants---and on roller skates yet! That takes coordination. The lady on the far left is looking on as if to say, "what the ___???" And the other ladies---on the right---seem to be enjoying this guy, or maybe laughing at him a little. And the ocean back there as open as can be...Another fine street capture, Harry. (I could never play on roller skates: Ever. I'd fall so many times, they'd pay me to leave and never come back...)
