Ladies and gentlemen, here I present you the occurrence of our elephant.
He participated in a beauty contest, and it went completely wrong.
Maybe it has to do with its name, Donald T ....?
But it may also have to do with the fact that she railed as she walked (a kind of stomped) as into the china shop of my mother.
This last is derived from a Dutch proverb, if someone is rough, and behaves coarsely.
In English you would say: "like a bull in a china shop".
And, do you recognize someone maybe?
It's all in the name, huh?! :D

but I do not take sides with anyone, when it comes to that drama and all that theatrically ballyhoo, in regards to those famous or infamous politicians in the US of today ! - and therefore I can't agree or disagree with Faemike55 opinion: "and unfortunately the whole world will be his china shop"... [I am not 'sheeple'...

...but then you have to ask yourself that question ? how can it be, that MORE THAN HALF of that nation voted for him ??? one could elaborate of course and say the same about 'her' in a china shop as well... I say, get over it, what's done is done and experience something else, so keep an open mind - don't fight it - embrace it, you might learn something new. LOL... it's not all gloom and doom...

Jacomina, I'm only here for a few comments in each gallery, this week. But I wanted to do more than a few for you, since I haven't been in your gallery in a while. (Well, I've been here---I just haven't commented in a while. I see everything you post, without fail...) I was going to end with your very recent image--which is gorgeous---but I chose to end with this instead, since America just dropped Trump on the world. I understand Brigitte's feelings, I really do (above). But since I live in America, and I know how much terrible damage Trump has done in America for years---and since I know our Congress, and how some of our politicians handle power---I have to say, Trump is a dangerous man. And we, in America, have to work hard to keep Trump from doing all he wants to do. Even Conservatives in America opposed Trump: We have to work hard to stop him from all the things he wants to do. I appreciate people who say, "give Trump a chance," but we also have to stop Trump from his "lower instincts". He's a very destructive man. And he did many terrible things in his life. So a lot of Americans are watching Trump very closely, so we don't let him "get away with mayhem". Certainly, we've had plenty of bulls in china shops, in American politics. But Trump is one of the worst. Let's pray he does good. But we must work to keep him from doing bad...
As for your image, it's wonderful. It's like a big, bloated undersea animal. Or a fractal elephant. I love your dark colors. And the size of the beast. And a very funny narrative. As art itself, this is a big undersea creature, with deep beautiful purples and greens. And I love the light in the back, behind the beast. Beautifully done, Jacomina.
