When I first went to see Jenna my first munster as a puppy, I asked her breeder how long they lived (I was used to my border collies living to nearly 14) when she said 7, I was horrified. Well apart from Jenna, who unfortunately had a bad heart & we lost her at 9 1/2, They have thankfully been well into their teens. Top left - We have Miss Meadow, who is 13 years 8 months. Thankfully she is well, bit creaky & bit deaf but, loves her walks, food & treats. Thankfully survived tetanus when she was 9. Bottom left - Is Pagan, what a sweet girl, we lost her at 13 1/2. When she was 10, she had a very serious operation, Mike had to open her up, crack her ribs & repair a hole in her lung. Just like repairing a puncture. Middle - My beautiful Hester, she was 12 1/2. She got old age epilepsy at 11. She died of age related problems not epilepsy. Top right - Carla 'B' she was 14 1/2, she loved life & lived it to the full. Bottom right - Hattie, my girl in a million. she was the grand old age of 15. We also have, here at home, JB who is 9 years 8 months. So my girls have proved Rosemary wrong, THANKFULLY. The girls are so funny when they get older, its their way or no way. Love it!!!! Although I do know of some Munster owners who have never had one to double figures.
