"The violence, especially having to kill, disturbs Shelby greatly but she has to force herself to keep going if she wants to survive and complete her quest. " This is a brand new artwork I created to illustrate one of the more important aspects of Shelby’s character. Although Shelby was taught how to use a gun, she never in her life imagined she would actually need to use it one day. The very thought of having to kill anyone or anything greatly disturbs her. She’s not your typical “kill everything in sight without giving a damn” action/adventure character. It’s one of the character aspects that separates her from most of the adventure heroines I’ve read/seen in other media.
