Wow great shot! Certainly no scenery like this near my home, but this reminds me of up on the mountain where the path suddenly stops, there's a drop, and a body of water at the bottom. Not sure if it's an old flooded stripping pit or natural spring though. They spent millions up there doing mine reclamation, planting trees and grass. Very beautiful actually. There's some kind of law that they have to do that.

A fine landscape. I've only been to Lake Powell once, many years ago & this is how I remember it (though I probably didn't see it from exactly this POV). I could easily see a sci-fi film about an alien planet being shot here...
