Since I'm condensing, here, I'll say that the original version of this was a wonderful 'abstract', with few shapes and real distance (space) and atmosphere, and I loved the atmospheric hues. This is a whole other matter. The moon looks like a globe of earth balancing on a high wire, and I love the grainy, shining dots, and the outlined flora beneath. The big wire jutting through the piece is a great accent. Terrific transformation!
(Actually, the moon looks like it's balancing on a financial report---one of those progress lines showing how stocks did over a 6 month period. Or...a bowling ball that escaped and stood on a mountain, and declared its independence...)
