Fantastic capture and composition my friend !!!
It first appears to be Black & White photo. But if you look closely , there are tell tale signs of color. Other than the obvious blue dumpster, there is a green leave from the tree on the very right and the amber yellow leave on the ground between the slats of the fence. Nice postwork
I hope the kid comes back to claim them so that his parents don't have to buy new ones for him. Great shot.
Very very well captured !!!
OPPS! Someone is missing his shoes now. Well seen and captured :)
With your son, yes, this is definitely a color shot, even though it feels black and white at first. You have hues in the metal too, in its reflections, etc; and in the grays of the shoes. It's a terrific capture, with the feel of your padlock shots (haven't seen too many of those lately), with all the colliding angles, mixes of line and mass and air and light and shade, etc. It's very complex, for a small area of fence. And the angle makes it mysterious---this railing could be on one of several angles, from where you're shooting it. Love the complexity of it. As for the dumpster, it's a great little blast of blue. And the sneakers themselves have fine detail in the cloth and threads, and I love how the laces continue down beyond the bottom frame. A terrific compact capture. Do you go back and see if the shoes are still there, 3 days later? And why would someone leave their shoes there, lol??? I agree with Nancy, I hope the parents don't have to buy more---those shoes ain't cheap! Another wonderful jazzy complex abstract from you, made of things of every day life.
