Description
Or at least it reminds me of crêpes suzette, or even plain old pancakes. Actually it's some sort of fungi growing on or out of a big tree trunk, captured 8/30/16 @ 8:24 am, while I was meandering along one of the lengthy sidewalks near home. This POV shows more of the bottom of this arcane growth. And, barring any new developments, this should be the last of this particular series. I'll have to check and see if there has been any further growth of fungi since my last visit.

Very great shot Harry !!!
It is great seeing the underside so clearly in this excellent capture. Amazing detail that I haven't noticed before. I had one of these growing on an old stump but wasn't able to see the underside as it was too close to the ground.
I looked Crêpes Suzette up and saw such delicious pancake examples and now I am hungry. This is a mighty beautiful shot, Harry :)
