Description
There are two ending versions; 1. Chocorua was killed by the settler when he took revenge on the settler's wife and son. 2. Rather than be captured or killed by the settler, Chocorua threw himself off the mountain top. Either way, a mountain, lake and village are named in his honor.

A sad story either way great image.
A dramatic and sad story, very well done image;
outstanding posing and scene. still dead. seems like being killed by an enemy would be more a heroic way than suicide
Sad scene, killing is so incredibly senseless. Really super pose and strong meaning behind this. Good job, Rick.
good posing wasnt going to miss though at that range! excellent image and render

Wow, this epic Native American work is so intriguing. I love how legend is born over time. I am so sorry it has been this long since I commented. Perhaps as long as a the month of August. Life has gotten in the way of Art. I will now love going through your gallery to see what I have missed.
Be well and be happy. Peace....Dag
