Description
These are leaves growing near the base of our big, old tree stump (see yesterday's post). I clean them out each year but they always come back.
Trying out Fuji's Black and White film simulation setting.

Very nice Bill. I know you are going to like the camera and the lack of weight in your hand. Good luck.
Sweet capture! the cool thing about B&W is you can almost feel the textures in the photo.
A humble title but a crackerjack image. Maybe the leaves keep coming back because they want you to take their picture.
Wow these leaves look amazing in this fabulous capture. I bet you are pleased with your purchase. They sound like they are persistent, but beautiful. Lol. 😀
Now i shall spend time trying fruitlessly to ID these familiar looking leaves!
I have been looking at Fuji's. I had one years ago and was happy with it except for the low pixels. great monochrome
I am not going to try to identify those leaves Bill, but they look nice in B & W. Interesting comment on my upload of Beethoven. Something I didn't know Bill, thanks. I guess they didn't know about his condition during his lifetime, sort of like Napoleon. They didn't discover that he had arsenic poisoning until much later too!
That is an amazing photo. Love the B/W. x
A lovely B&W shot, Bill! Those leaves almost look like they're made out of gold leaf. That setting seems to have a ton of range - the whites and blacks all have plenty of detail. This looks very much an HDR image.
Beautiful B&W capture !!!
A fine black & white shot....
Superb capture my friend. God bless.
Wonderful black and white treatment of these finely patterned and textured leaves.
fabulous
