Description
This was my entry for Rendo's "What Superhero Would You Be?" contest. I didn't win, but I had a great time making art of my all-time favorite member of the X-Men: Psylocke! She is a master martial artist, a telepath, and a telekinetic, known for her butterfly-shaped attacks and psy-blade(s). She is an Omega-level mutant, on par with Jean Grey and Charles Xavier. In the Marvel comics, she is a very complicated character and has worked with the Avengers, Deadpool, Archangel, and more to save the world time and time again.

Wow I did not know half of the story, Just shows how much I have missed, since I got old and stopped reading comics and read books instead. Your art always blows me away. I wish I was half as good as you in Photoshop. If I was my renders would be twice as good. Your just Amazing. If you lost the winner must have been out of this world good. Sorry I do not pay attention to the contests here or the art charts for that matter as they would just make me feel so insignificant, so I live in my own unrealistic world here.

Fantastic perspective Jenn - it's just perfect for this action pose!!! The base render and character looks great - but Psylocke needs her plasma energy and you delivered on that with some great effects
This is a very high energy piece and wonderful artwork!!!

You Did an outstanding Job! I don't enter contest anymore there is a lot of stress involved in examining if it is good enough, will it be finished on time,is it too much or not enough and Why did that other person win with the
they entered! the only thing about the contest is that they give you a subject to work with if you can't think of a thing.

This was probably my last attempt to participate in a contest here at Rendo (I am so sad that RDNA is gone / no longer doing their monthly contests). I don't really agree with the way they are run here, in that they never really advertise them so most members don't even know they're happening! I only found out about this Superhero one at the very last minute. If they don't know about them then they certainly can't participate...much less vote on their favorites! Anyway, thank you so much for your kind words and I'm so glad you like the picture :)

Oh I know! I sorely miss the contests over at Runtime!! The advertising for fun stuff like contests over here at Rendo is very lacking :( They have some contests going on now I think (under the sea and a fantasy place?) if you are interested. Anyway, thank you for the wonderful comments!
