Description
I have a small collection of Rheinish salt-glazed stoneware, and this is one of the small ones
This is probably about 1910, in the German Art Nouveau style.called Jungenstil.
I can't afford to collect this any more, unless I see it in a charity shop. It was very unfashionable when I started and so it was cheap.
See a very pretty little bottle in an earlier style Here

I Like them.
WOW! That is a pretty little jar. Very lovely shot too.
A very fine piece.
Beautiful.
it is beautiful!
I'm a fan of art nouveau, but have had to settle for contemporary reproductions. This looks like something you could find in a museum - it must be nice to own such a piece - thanks for sharing...
I really like this style, and this piece in particular. Wonderful shot!
It reminds me of two pregnant women!
Fantastic, it would make a good beer mug for someone that doesn't drink much. I know what you mean about can't afford it. I have a few German beer mugs, some were given to me and a couple I purchased. They almost cost an arm and a leg!
