Description
I got this out of the recycling to record before it's gone for good.
It seems to me that although bike lights are smaller and brighter now, half of the folk I see cycling don't use any at all.
Death wish or what ?!

Wow, that brings back memories. Dont think I've seen one of them since the 80's. They used to get pinched regularly at school as they just slide on to the bracket, no real fixings. Thanks durleybeachbum.
Not so much a death wish. It's the "or what". I believe it is just another small sign of people believing that it is always someone else's job to take care of them. Ride your bike. If you have no light and someone hits you, well it has to be their fault, doesn't it?
Brings back memories it does! I've got twin LED lights on the handlebars and twin tail lights on the back
I don't ride my bike in the dark
Have never seen such bike lights before. Thanks for sharing it :-)
Interesting artifact. I haven't seen one of these in fifty years.
I remember some of this. Its obsolete. Nowadays its LED, the smaller and brighter, the better and GPS and all sort of recording gimmicks. Over here it is the same, many people don't use any lights (we don't have many bike riders anyway). Whether one has a light or not doesn't matter, there are a few casualties all the time! I stopped riding during the daytime because of the constant sun (I had some cancerous growth removed from my left ear lobe) and have no desire to get run over. Bike riders around here get treated like it open season.
