Description
My son had some of my old images on one of his hard drives. I'm very grateful that I could recover at least something!
I snapped this holy ibis at the Johannesburg Zoo a few years back.

Gosh it is so beautiful. Love that color. A great shot. Happy you found some of your stuff in your sons files. Maybe have an external backup harddisk from now on? It is so terrible to lose all your stuff like that.

What a beautiful bird...great capture
Oh my, I've heard holy cow, holy moley, holy water, and holy Toledo, but never a holy ibis, and a gorgeous creature it is! Terrific capture of the avian. Plus, it has a snout that can poke holes in a metal container for sustenance or oil for an auto engine.
What a color! My goodness! It's just beautiful.
I've seen all your pictures, but am not keeping current with comments yet, as I'm only here now and then. Didn't want you to think I was neglecting you ... I'm neglecting everyone rather even-handedly! :P Lief jou ... :*
