Life is life, and I'm seldom here anymore, alas.
I did, however, get a chance to engage in one of my favorite forms of stress-relief: making something that will soon fall down.

You could disappear for ten years, Mike, and still, every time Bill and I see a rock stack we will mention you, and I'm pretty sure we always will. You and your soothing hobby have become part of the landscape of our lives. Funny, how something like that can create a bond between strangers, isn't it? I mean ... we've both known of your rock stacking for years, and have always enjoyed it. I'm excited about your costume designs and the way you execute your ideas, and I love your wrapping paper work. So ... you're famous in our house! :) Thanks for this stack. I'll show it to Bill, we'll both enjoy it, and next time we see a rock stack, we'll mention you and smile.
