Description
A panoramic view from Glacier Point in Yosemite. This has become one of my most favorite places anywhere. It's truly a very spiritual place. I've been able to see it several times, and each one is different. One morning I was there at daybreak, before the crowds. I got to Bridal Veil Falls and was able to just sit back and enjoy the quiet. Well, quiet is relative when you're close to a falls that big, but it was the lack of people that made it so special. By 10am I was on my way home. That's Bridal Veil at the bottom right.

I must admit I envy you just a bit. When I was under 5 years old my parents took me camping in Yosemite. It is the last time I was ever there, but I still retain impressions of that beautiful place. I would love to make a return visit sometime and enjoy a peaceful morning like you describe.

Gorgeous! I've never been there. The one time the roads were clear and we were in the area, the government was shut down and all the parks were closed. :P This is amazing!

Ah, Yosemite. I remember it well, but not from Glacier Point. Stellar landscape shot, M. Just for the challenge, you were probably standing on a rickety rope bridge when you snapped it.
