Beautiful closeup !!!
lovely image
what a lovely flower. nice sharp focus on the center.... well done!
Latin names usually do not like me, but it is really beautiful flower
It is a perfect photo, and a beautiful flower in the daisy family (but not Calendula officinalis )
I think it may be Anthemis E. C. Buxton which is a hybrid of Dyers' Chamomile, A.tinctoria.. A yellow dye can be obtained from this plant. It grows 50-60 cms high.
Thank you very much Andrea. I think you are right. The german name for "Anthemis" is "Hundskamille"
Beautiful cheery shot of this lovely yellow bloom. I am so glad we have Andrea around to provise us with the names and info. I have no clue. I would have just called it a yellow flower. :)
WONDERFUL WORK
Hundskamille? Dog's chamomile? What a great name! I wonder why "Hund"? Maybe the petals look like canine teeth...In any case, whenever one of us is unsure about a flower's name, we can always count on Andrea to give the right one. (I don't know any flower names.) This is another flower shot with a mix of detail and bokeh, and both are beautiful. You really are a master of bokeh---it's so easy to use, but so very hard to use well...It's a big burst of a flower; but your softness and the gentle fade around several petals makes it almost an underwater shot. And the bokeh'd background is like a dream: Those petals back there are apparitions from a fairy tale. Beautiful work. Very sensitive.
