Description
These plants on the Argyll Sub Tropical Gardens zig zag are vandalised repeatedly, and this leaf has died off, but given us a rather beautiful and colourful display in so doing.
Talk about a soft target for drunk cowards!

bravo Mark, my thoughts exactly, with your many studies of abstract forms. When I first saw this (and read your description), I thought, "A leaf has been influenced by Andrea!" I love the closeup, it's like a leaf which has been invaded by numerous diseases. Or else a topographical map of some lava and deadly mineral infested landscape. Part of it looks like a potato chip with a bad skin condition. (Do you say "potato chip" in Britain? Is it "crisps"? I hope you know what I mean...it's one of the awful junk foods a lot of americans grew up on...) The flickr version is stunning because we see it in relation to the plant---the "black sheep" of the family. Wonderful shot. (You should ask it what filters it uses...)
