Hi Barbara! Been awhile since we chatted! Hope all is well with you...I see the site changed in dramatic ways! All of a sudden a couple weeks ago I started getting emails from Rendo and thought that was strange, then I saw your name that you uploaded a picture so I thought I'd check it out! Glad to see you still doing it. I have turned to a different style of creation...I've been creating artistic animated music video. I have taken some of my still images that you even seen just a simple still work of my art, then I animate it. Then I create, produce, compose, record and engineer and mix a new instrumental song, no singing, and apply it to the background of the animated art, thus then creating a music video from it...there's no where I can submit it here that I can see...anyway, blah blah blah, lol Good to see you still here and creating! Hope to hear back from you soon, take care Barb!

In my absence, I missed commenting on this, but I'm rectifying that right now. First, I hope your health has improved, and that your life is treating you well. It's always a treat when you come back here, even for a single upload and a few comments. (Your comments are a treat as well---for all of us, not just for me.) Second, I love this piece...I want to comment on it as a photograph, because your angle and "crop" is very photographic. It's like an architectural shot, where you cut off the view at bottom, to bring out the real drama in the lines and perspectives. I love how it's cut off in the middle of the lowest layer (ie, we don't see the full "landing" down there, just part of it), and how your angle brings out the 'vertigo' of the pov. Very photographic. As for the design---the fractal-y part of it---it's a wonderful use of grid and locked-in parts, of (I can't remember the word! a senior moment)---cellular? That's not exactly it, but it's made of parts that all lock together, and you made a big looming look-down a chute, or down the courtyard of a high rise, where the actual courtyard is too far down to be visible. And the light and shade are dramatic too. Wonderful "look down," very intricately done, and cropped just right for a sense of drama. I love this.
