Description
Queen Zlata the Gentle has learned that Gillie, who has been in the care of Krittermom, is to be set free to live as she should, a true roonie (raccoon for the others). the queen is reassuring Gillie that it is okay; it is now the time to go home and be what she knows how to be, a raccoon. It is a wonderful moment in all the lives, even if there is some sadness.
Gillie I wish you a long and happy life and that you remember the love and care you got from Bev and that you realize that not all humans are bad.

for those of you who are curious, I've been following Bev's work for some time. We have shared many thoughts and ideas over this time. I have learned so much from her and the roonies. While I may be a hunter with both bow and rifle, I will not kill a raccoon! PERIOD! There is one exception: if I find them injured, near death, then I will do the merciful act and send them into their heaven.
Thank you Bev for letting me do this.

outstanding work on this. I have never hunted for animals, but went with a high school friend when he was hunting for squirrels. he never got any. there is a new truck stop near to me that has so many stuffed animals on display. I feel bad whenever I see them.
hunting for sport is without purpose unless the hunter plans on eating their prey
