Description
First asset finished for my next assessment...whew ! ...only have to make another 4 or 5 custom objects for this one...sheesh ! LOL
Modelled in 3ds Max 2014, textured with Photoshop and Ddo, about 7000 polygons, but I might use a denser mesh for the game level, as it is a FPS view and the gun needs to be pretty high-res as it fills a fair bit of the game screen.
A few test renders to make sure it's works with different programs and I'm pretty happy with the results, what do you think ?
Cheers jif3d :o)
p.s. you'll notice a higher polygon count than the 7000 I mentioned, as there is a hidden layer of a FBX weapon import form Unreal Engine 4, which I used as a guide for trigger, reload and hand positions for when I need to import it into the game.

WOW my friend... What a fabulous work... Fantastically well done !!!
Impressive work
Very nice piece. I particularly like the venting along the chamber... I have a few characters that I could imagine carrying that piece if your lovely red-head doesn't take to it
Great 3D modeling and one outstanding prop....
Interesting work !!!
So do you end up top loading the denser polys on the sides that you're likely to see in game (i.e., the top)?
It's reaaly a fantastic work of modelisation/ texture, and superb scenes with this weapon!
Excellent modeling man, a mean looking weapon, great job. Looking to add to my weapons stash myself, love to get a hold of an HK Mp5 but it ain't exactly legal,
Great modelization work on this gun, superb renders and scenes, excellent work !
OK, that looks pretty tasty! What do you expect the final poly count will be?

Toys for boys ! ... and one gal ... 'S.E.O.' ? (sexy, enterprising officer) maybe ? LOL
That must have taken hours and hours, nights and days of work there for you, to build a 'THING' like that from scratch [not a Dr. Seuss - THING] but, it was well worth it in the end...
Cheers BB
