Description
A field with big stones and poppies and a pond behind them. Made with Charcoal.
I am back.. not better, but back. Atleast I will give it a try. I miss you guys and your art. :)
Wish you a beautiful sunday. It has been pretty windy the past weeks and mostly rainy and grey, but a little above the freezing point. That is a good thing.
Thank you for viewing and commenting on my previous post :-)

And it is also a good thing to see your back, dearone! Looking at your lovely art, so lively, with great depth, and stimulating my imagination, is the best thing to discover, of course full size. Love all of it, my friend. Please take care.
Wonderful draw !!!
A wonderful rural scene. It's great to see again one of your fantastic drawings.
Great to see you back, Helle, and I love this!
:)))Helloo, dear Helle ! So wonderful to see you here again:) I missed YOU so much and your art:) Another tranquil and so beautiful view of your place! I love the depth. And the light and the shade are fabulous. I'm always amazed with your charcoal drawings! You have brightened my day as always:)Thank you for this piece and please, take care!
I feel like I could walk into your scene! It's got such grace and peace about it. This would be fun with a little hand-coloring here and there. I was so immersed in your landscape that I was surprised the poppies were in black and white! :P Just me being fanciful, of course. I love this just the way it is!!
What a marvelous drawing my friend... Outstandingly done !!!
this is lovely
Nice to see you back Helle. I like your painting very much.
Beautifully drawn; your talent is so excellent!
Wonderful and very creative work
Great to see you back Halle, and this is such a lovely drawing with excellent detail. Very well done.
Nice scene.
Hi Helle, Whar a wonderful sketch you have made. I used to love working with charcoal. I was looking back just a little bit through your gallery because I have a lot of catching up to do. I saw a piece titled "thank you" that in the descrition mentions a problem with your eyes. I need to go back through and find out the whole story, but for now I just wanted to say how amazing this is that you have been able to make such a sketch while having vision issues. It shows to me what a wonderful and natural artist you are. I am very glad you are back and I am back also so I get to enjoy your talent again. I will be trying to catch up a bit, but I am not going to try to comment on everything because I have missed too much in the last 6 months. I hope you get feeling better soon.
lovely
Amazing work Helle. God bless.
Great charcoal depiction of the fallow field, Helle, replete with big stones, poppies and other good stuff. Glad your eyes have improved to the point of reposting art. And, hey will have to get some fellows to reseed that fallow field.
Zoom is essential, of course, to see all your charcoal work. The grain is delicious, as are the rubbed/soft portions. A delightful drawing, with jazzy sketched in poppies, and big smooth soft rocks (like pillows, almost, or baked potatoes). And very sweet bulbous trees, and layered background. and open space as well. A lot of things going on in this piece. And sweet diagonal lines too. Also, we can see what I assume are the lines of the currant field--right? In the background? A really active full charcoal drawing; it's sketched but full, and I love the way you characterize everything with different strokes. (And needless to say, I hope you start to see improvement in your eye, finger, etc, soon. It's great to see you back, but it will be greater when we know you're on the mend.)
Oh, this is lovely! I admire anyone who can work with charcoal (or especially pastels). I've tried and mostly made a mess... So I use charcoal for grillin' burgers... And a good ol' number 2 for sketching - which I sorely need to start doing again..
Anyway, this is superb!
