Description
This is my way of saying goodbye to Glenn Frey, a talented and creative musician. I loved him in the Eagles and his solo career as well. He will be missed but the music will live on.

you show a really fine photographic eye in this beautiful tribute to Glen Frey. I know it's Poser, but you thought and felt like a fine photographer here; your deep almost silvery pink sky is beautiful, it morphs into that silver-gray horizon; which then leads to that silvery-gray-pink water, with a beautiful soft reflection of light on the left. And that bird in the upper center is soft and fitting, since it's an eagle. It feels like a photographic dream, and it draws us in in a mesmerizing way. Beautiful image, Teri. And a fine remembrance of a great singer songwriter. It's almost like you did it on a soft metal plate, it has softness throughout as if you're sending Frey on his way with a huge hug, to a place where all is luminous and embracing. Wonderful eagle tribute.
(If you've never heard the Gypsy Kings, they did a great rendition of Hotel California, only with their usual passionate heated flamenco touch. ((If you don't know them, they're flamenco artists from Southern France.)) If you know this, ignore this link, lol. But if you don't, it's worth a listen when you have time. A chilling yet hauntingly beautiful render in its own right, this is a great tribute to the passing of a musician. Love the moody twilight feel. I am reminded of the following lines from the 8th century Chinese poet Du Fu (杜甫):
"Drifting around, as what am I? A solitary sand gull between Heaven and Earth."
