Shao is adorned in a beautiful Chinese outfit---with, I assume, traditional Chinese motifs on it. You handled her gown very well, in the way it flares out, and the way light falls on it. And she comes bounding to the front of the image, waving her swords like a sword-artist. But then you've surrounded her with a sumptuous Chinese garden, with pond and pagodas, and a deep green patina. And some swans---one of which is looking straight at us! (I think he wants to know who we are.) And there's bright light behind her---very well done. You gave an almost metallic shine to her body, which makes her look as if she's made of gold or brass. And the image swerves towards the center, opening to that beautiful pond. Very gracefully done, Ute. Another enchanting image from you, where you use historical elements beautifully.
