blossoming

of rose quartz
and serenity blue
where spirit lions
and unicorns
can rest
in the peace
and tranquility of
this gentle hue
for within the beauty
of this rose quartz
and serenity blue
their spirits renew
and they regain
the strength
to make
wishes and dreams
come true.

Ever wonder where white spirit lions and unicorns go to rest from the stress of making dreams come true? They settle within a floating rose in welcoming shades of rose quartz and serenity blue, of course. These two relaxing shades are Pantone's Color of the Year for 2016. According to Pantone research, these colors reflect the balance between a warm embracing rose tone and a cooler tranquil blue, providing a feeling of connection and security, with a soothing sense of order and peace. Colors really do effect our spirits in amazing ways, so perhaps this rose quartz and serenity blue will bring good things in the New Year, to you, too.

Carol, I'll give you a detailed comment on this soon (along with some other images I've not yet commented on), but for now I wanted to wish you a wonderful 2016, here in your gallery alongside all your radiant work. This image is filled with luminosity and pulsing flowing strokes, and it's a menagerie of fairy tale and folktale creatures, straight from a child's prodigious imagination...and it's all topped by a giant rose made of snow and light, a true winter's fantasy. It's beautiful. I'll say more in your gallery soon, but happy New Year, and I wish you great inspiration and dance, with peace and lots of light for 2016.
