First, if you mentioned that you'd been ill, prior, I missed it and I'm sorry. Second, I hope you get better soon! Maybe my germs got to you via the web---can germs digitize themselves??? Like, turn into jpgs? But despite your bug, you're doing yet more wonderful invention with these beach shots, and this one is a very tactile almost slabbed-paint version. I love the slate-red portion---the band beneath the waves or bluffs, whatever they are. That slate portion is like heavy oil paint slabbed on with a palette knife. Or heavy chunks of bark.And the rest is in high contrast with the low sands and those near white "bluffs"...all met by a red-gray sky. Another terrific transformation, Mike....And, re Osper's brandy and a teaspoon of honey---yeah, that'll work! And you ever had Slivovitz? (Slivovice?) If not, put THAT in your drink, and you'll be so out of it, you'll forget you were sick. (My father's cure.) Hope you get better soon!
