ging de hemel open.
Die ons heil ter wereld bracht,
antwoord op ons hopen.
This is the first strophe of a Flemish Christmas carol:
In the middle of the winter night
heaven was opened.
Who brought us salvation in the world,
response to our hope.

Last night was crystal clear and cold out here in the Desert, the type night that just magnify the the Stars out here where there is no interference from any man made light sources, the Milky Way is just magnificent. It's the perfect place to have a Telescope can't believe I don't own one maybe for Xmas, as if I need anything to make me feel any more insignificant in the Grand Scheme of things

yes, with Denise, your art fits well with the verse---the sense of something redeeming and heavenly, coming through this amazing web of swirling lines and nets. The center has intense hues; but as we move away from the center, the lines open up, and reveal light (on the top-left), and all kinds of rust-hues, and purples and muted blue-greens. It's like we found the center of a huge swirling vortex, and a great light is coming through it. Beautiful for the season, with introspection and light all wrapped into one. And beautiful for winter too...Your fractals are always gorgeous, Jacomina.
