So creepy....I love it!
even in your 'creepy' pieces, you still make us feel delight...delight in the care you take to give us delicious details...the "Dr Troy's Surgery" sign, both the hanging sign and the one above the entrance; those wonderful rickety plank bridges on top of the building; the tower in the background; a flying bat; big barrels on the right; a dark office behind the killer; and, of course, the killer himself (Dr. Troy's son) with his formal pleated shirt and formal bow tie, his eyeglasses, that blood-drenched sword, and his green coat (covering a pin striped vest!)---all done with your usual care, and for high drama. And all that mist...If this is the doctor's evil son, I wonder what the doctor is thinking ("so THIS is what my son learned from me...") Wonderful and playful macabre work, Ute, perfect for the dark nights of December...
