Captured back on 3/13/10, at the beautiful Griffith Park/Los Angeles Zoo in Los Angeles, California.

"silent treatment"? He's telling you to buzz off, lol! He's had it, doesn't want to see another photographer, and, even though that pine cone isn't exactly making scintillating conversation, he'd rather tell jokes to it than see another human being ever. Street shooting with gorillas---I love it! You cropped it to bring home his rudeness. (I know, he's just enjoying his pine cone, but you traveled all that way, and he's not looking at you for love or money.) What a riot. Love the capture. A gorilla with an attitude. He's sending a message...Love it.
(Re your suggestion on my 'lighthouse' piece: I thought the light was too low too! But it was one of my first uses of "orbs" in a photoshop piece, and I didn't know what to do with it, so I left it there. You can critique anytime you want, Harry. Your comments are welcome, no matter what.)
