Captured back on 3/21/12, at the beautiful El Dorado Nature Center in beautiful Long Beach, California.
The area was as dry as it looks, or smelled.

if there's anything 'good' about this terrible pain you have, it's that it's brought to us a whole lot of pictures that perhaps we wouldn't have seen before. I know that's no "silver lining," believe me; but at least there's one plus to it all, in the postworks you're doing with your archived stock. This is a serene, intimate shot of the simplest of benches, surrounded by dry leaves, in a dappled, patterned and private setting. Wonderful light and shadow. And that simple bench---composed through the very center of the shot---sits there like a divider, or like a large punctuation mark to the whole piece. Simple but beautiful, and in a way it's more of your always rich minimalism...
Perfect place for a sit down, to just sit and people-watch, or enjoy the scenery or rest the neck and shoulders when carrying a heavy camera bag full of gear. Nice shot Harry.
