What were once habits are now memories.
This old building on Highway 95 on the north side of Moscow, Idaho, was probably a regular roadside stop back in the day. These days it's a great stop for a grunge photographer! :)

Well said, I always wonder about abandoned buildings like this. People locked the door (or not) and just walked away from what must have been a part of their dreams once. They didn't even take the thermometer. A poignant shot, well done.

What a fascinating thought...and photo:) Looks like those old fake brick sheets of siding even got a coat of green at sometime after they were installed. Would love to know the roadside history of this building...but no chance of that by the looks of the place.
They look like 'bad habits' now Tara but they hold out a certain beauty in a photograph like this.
I like that thought. It lead me on to think of when memories too are lost. One of the ladies at the home who has always liked my animals has got dementia since our last visit. This week she recoiled appalled as I lifted Rosie to give her, saying she only likes Retrievers. This is of no consequence of course, but much else will be confused that matters more A fascinating photo, Tara. I almost forgot....

Wonderful "grunge" details here and so much to see! The worn and tattered shingles, that great fake brick wall covering, that old thermometer and worn window frames. Wonderful! OH! I love this shot and I like to think about what happened there and how people were looking and how this was looking inside then.
