Grand Teton National Park
I've always wanted to get shots like this of aspen, but somehow they've always been inaccessible. I was thrilled to find a stand close enough to the road to get some decent pictures!

We're in Torrington, Wyoming right now visiting a friend, and are having a terrific time! This valley is known as the Goshen Hole, which should tell you we're not exactly up on a mountaintop, and our internet availability is pretty dismal. If you're reading this, there must have been enough oomph in the connection to get an image through!

Ahhh, that's so beautiful. I didn't realize what would be considered so dear till we moved from Colorado when I was a kid. Now I sure do miss Aspen and the mountains. Lovely shot. And many Congrats on being chosen as Artist of the Month!

Now, that is a really autumn shot. The colors and clarity are perfect :-) It hasnt comed that far here yet.

Color and light is superb and I love the triptych treatment. It really bumps up the visual interest. Would look great on a gallery wall. And congratulations on the AOM award.
duuuuuuude....I've zoomed before, but this one's off the monitor! I have a 27 incher, and this baby's shooting into my next door neighbor's bathroom! BIG zoom! (BIG zoom!!!) But it puts us right into the massivity of this forest, and brings out the deep comfort of its shadows, its deep autumnal glow, its sense of vastness and privacy at the same time, the contrast of those white trunks with all the other hues present, and the feeling of a deluge of leaves---gold, yellow, brown---speckling the sky with their endless variety. It's beautiful, full size (I hope everyone looked)---and a majestic pastiche of the glory of these forests, bursting with autumn hues. Your choice to make a triptych, and a BIGGGGG one, was perfect for your subject. Beautiful!
